Lhasa, meaning "divine place", is the start and finish of this stage, combining some of the most beautiful destinations in Tibet on a wonderful route through the Himalayas. At the foot of the eight thousand-metre mountains, the journey leads to places rarely visited, such as the highest monastery in the world or the Tagejia geyser.

Day 1
Individual arrival in Lhasa, organizational matters/vehicle instruction, dinner together and overnight in hotel in Lhasa
Day 2
Sightseeing in Lhasa including the Potala Palace and Lhasa's ancient city, dinner together and overnight in hotel in Lhasa
Day 3
Stage for the day: Lhasa – Shigatse (200 km), travel through breathtaking river country on the Friendship Highway, overnight in a simple guesthouse in Shigatse
Day 4
Stage for the day: Shigatse – Lhartse (210 km), visit Tashilunpo monastery, overnight in a simple guesthouse near Lhartse
Day 5
Stage for the day: Lhartse – Saga (310 km), travel to Tagejia geyser, overnight in a simple guesthouse near Saga
Day 6
Stage for the day: Saga – New Tingri (280 km), travel on the China-Nepal Highway beside the highest mountains in the world in the Himalayas and by idyllically-located Lake Pelkhu Tso, cross pass (5,180 m), overnight in a guesthouse in New Tingri
Day 7
Day trip to Mt. Everest Base Camp (Chinese side), visit Rongbuk monastery (4,980 m – highest monastery in the world), overnight in a guesthouse in New Tingri
Day 8
Stage for the day: New Tingri – Gamba (320 km), travel along the Himalayas and the Rivers Bum Chu and Yeru Tsangpo, dinner together, overnight in a guesthouse in Gamba
Day 9
Stage for the day: Gamba – Nagarze (350 km), visit Pelkhor Chode monastery complex in Gyantse, dinner together and overnight in a guesthouse in Nagarze
Day 10
Stage for the day: Nagarze – Lhasa (260 km), travel through the lakes and rivers of the Yamdrok Yutso region, cross the Gamba La Pass (4,750 m), dinner together and overnight in hotel in Lhasa
Day 11
