The mythical Yangtze
The Yangtze is not only the longest river in Asia. Its historical importance as the border river between north and south China and its world-famous gorges have given it mythical status. XWORLD visits some of the most beautiful places before this stage ends in Shanghai, the "Paris of the East", right on time for the Formula 1 race starting gun.

Day 1
Individual arrival in Chengdu, organizational matters/vehicle instruction, sightseeing in Chengdu including the temple precincts (Wenshu Yuan Temple), dinner together and overnight in hotel in Chengdu
Day 2
Visit the Giant Panda reserve near Chengdu, dinner together and overnight in hotel in Chengdu
Day 3
Stage for the day: Chengdu – Wanzhou (500 km), long day's drive to the Yangtze river, opportunity to attend a traditional tea ceremony, dinner together and overnight in hotel in Wanzhou
Day 4
Stage for the day: Wanzhou – Yichang (520 km), drive winding mountain roads, dinner together and overnight in hotel in Yichang
Day 5
Stage for the day: Yichang – Huangshi (350 km), visit the Three Gorges Dam, dinner together and overnight in hotel in Huangshi
Day 6
Stage for the day: Huangshi – Nanling (500 km), cross the Yangtze by ferry at Anqing, dinner together and overnight in hotel in Nanling
Day 7
Stage for the day: Nanling – towards Shanghai (300 km), drive along Lake Tai towards Shanghai, dinner together and overnight stay
